Nonviolent Clowning Weekend
For people who have done our intro to clown
The clown lives in direct, open communication with their audience. Using teachings from both Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and clowning, we'll explore tools and techniques that foster compassionate connection, both on the stage and in life.
Holly Stoppit Workshops are delighted to be offering this one-off advanced training for anyone who has completed our Introduction To Clowning Weekend.
Holly will co-facilitate this weekend in collaboration with Shantigabha from Seed of Peace, a Bristol-based company of NVC trainers, who Holly has had the pleasure of learning with for the last few years. Here's their mission statement:
“We work with people who believe that authentic communication is key in creating a more just and compassionate world. Our trainings will bring you inner healing, improved relationships, and support to create the kind of world that you want to live in.”
Does this sound like it's for you?
If you've attended any of Holly's training, you'll already have had a taste of the world that Holly Stoppit inhabits; a world of play, connection, laughter and love.
What happens when these worlds collide?
Come and find out, as we explore the 3 vital components of NVC; self-empathy, empathy for others and self-expression, through cerebral investigation and body-based learning as we dance between NVC and clowning.
