What happens in the Creative Clarity 4-week online course?
New for January 2024! The Creative Clarity 4-week online course is a playful, creative and therapeutic journey that happens live on Zoom for a small group of intrepid adventurers.
We’ll be using meditation, movement, embodiment, play, mark-making, writing and structured dialogue to help you gain access to your inner wisdom and discover what’s true for you.
In each session, we’ll dock together in as a group, before jumping into a solo exploration of a particular theme in our own spaces. Then we’ll join together in small groups in breakout rooms to reflect, before landing back as a whole group to share our findings.
You'll get to try out a plethora of creative reflective techniques that you'll be able to use again and again on yourself or with others. These techniques are designed to help you get a sense of where you’re at, unpick tight knots and inform wise choices.
The Ingredients of the Creative Clarity 4-week course
1.) Co-creating a safe enough container
We will work together to create a compassionate, supportive atmosphere, where we can bring our whole selves into the zoom room.
2.) Mindfulness meditation / movement
There will be guided explorations to bring you into closer contact with your body, emotions and thoughts.
3.) Exploring big themes lightly through embodiment and play
Week one’s theme will be ‘being with the unknown’ and the rest of the themes will emerge week-by-week. We’ll dive into each theme through movement, creative expression and playful / embodied games.
4.) Creative reflection
We’ll draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore the parts (thoughts, feelings, sensations, beliefs, etc) that pop up during the play. We’ll using mark making and creative writing to capture the wisdom of our inner parts on the page.
5.) Supporting each other through structured dialogue
Woven through the course will be structured speaking and listening practices to ensure everyone receives spacious and compassionate witnessing.
