My CV is, quite frankly, ridiculous. I started teaching at the age of six, in my family's circus, and have been working solidly ever since. If I were to include all of my experience, you'd be sat here for weeks. So here are the edited highlights.

Process Facilitator

I have held space for theatre artists to playfully explore themes as varied as feminism, depression, grief, eating disorders, political dissent, child psychology, alter egos, sexuality, isolation, co-dependance, corruption and deceit.

I play various roles in the creative process:

  • I am often called in at the beginning of projects in the role of 'Fire-Starter.' It is my joy to bring people together, get clear on their aims and help them establish a playful and open culture in the rehearsal room.
  • I facilitate R&D for performance projects; helping artists to unpack their ideas and process their feelings and/or explore various theatrical forms.
  • I shape devised performance as a dramaturg / director, generally finding ways to leave space for improvisation
  • I mentor artists and directors through their creative processes
