I'm delighted to announce that I will be the official Clown in Residence at Bristol Museum, this autumn.

As part of Circus 250 - celebrating 250 years since the very first circus ring was pitched up in London, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery will be hosting Clowns: The eggs-hibition

The exhibition will include lots of the Clown Eggs from the Clown Egg Register. If a clown wants to trade-mark their make-up, they paint an egg with their clown face and submit it to the Clown Egg Register, this means that nobody else can copy their look. Check out the video here:

More about the activities:

Interactive Clown Performances - you'll find me in the museum, living in the state of clown, finding games with everyday objects and inviting you to play.

Family Play Sessions - bring your kids to play clown games and find out what happens behind the scenes at clown school.

Laughter Yoga Workshop - simple games and fun exercises to get you laughing for absolutely no reason, leaving you feeling euphoric, relaxed and de-stressed.

Walking Tours for Grown Ups - comedy tours of the exhibition, offering snippets of clown history amongst stacks of stupidity.

I will, of course, be blogging my way through the process, so watch this space for updates.

The exhibition opens on the 29th September and runs until January 2019. Click here for more info.
